NVE公司是自旋电子(spintronics)实用商业化的领导者, 自旋电子是一种奈米技术，以电子自旋来取得、储存并传送讯息，而不是用充电方式来处理讯息。

NVE生产高性能自旋电子产品，包含用于感应器及隔离器。主要用来取得及传递资料。产品的特性包括了 : 体积小、精确、高速并且比一般传统产品更加坚固。 NVE产品广泛用于工业、科学与医疗等应用。其中感应器主要用于接收讯号，隔离器则用于发送讯息、储存资料。因此，NVE的科技可以提供相对于人类眼睛、神经、及大脑的电子系统。

NVE创始人Dr. James M. Daughton曾任职于Honeywell，于1989年成立NVE。
